Sorry to not have written reply earlier ... do remember these two facts. The 'current' earthquake that you refer to emanated in your part of Orewa/Red Beach. Do you recall the second quake of importance? It also occured where you were and that is at Ruakaka. I don't think that you have retired - it's a myth.
Do you want to know of the next reunion meeting of the family of Harper's who's ancestor, Elizabeth Fenton was our Pop Fenton's sister? They had a reunion in Glenfield this last weekend. I didn't attend 'cause I was motoring around the Coromandel Peninsula on my scooter looking cool.
Any other cousins may want to know of other invitations.
