Hello, this is sent out early as there's a document online for reading. HEARING FROM THE WORLD TRAVELLERS I await a response from cousin Dennis who has written that both he and Irene had a wonderful time with their younger son Adam in greater Sydney; to tell us about their holiday. On Thursday morning I got out of bed at 5.45am and opened up the Internet and discovered that Roger's morning commuter train's accident had not happened on 'his' loop of the track that goes from San Bernadino to San Fernando. A very selfish action by the motorist who deliberately parked his SUV on the railroad tracks and watched the train-chain raction that ended up with some 11 people killed and unknown injured. Friday afternoon Darryn rang up from England for a chat at 1p per minute cost and so the 20 minute conversation was about his and Julie's life in England centred on their living in Guildford. Later that evening (last evening, actually) Roger rang up for a chat and so I spoke to him about the commuter train. He alights the train at Rosemead in Greater Los Angeles to go to work for Disconnects at Southern California Edison. Roger has recently returned from a fact finding visit to the state of Georgia. Kingi had a few quiet words with Rangi as well as to aunt and uncle. Sherrie is hyper aware of her spring-break vacation to China and will accompany other members of the tour group from her college. The trip has a lot to offer with impressive 'extras' in the pursuit of educational learning in China, perhaps in the Shanghai area |
