Dear Mari and Jack and Everyone, Thank you All for your kind wishes and thought's re- retirement.
Yes it feel's like a long time coming and yet it's been only 1/2 a century of work! It only seems like yesterday that I first started climbing power poles.( In fact I drove past it today).( The power pole I mean).
Nola has plenty of job's lined up.Fishing weather coming right in about 3 week's.Weather warming up for planting spud's.The local Church is throwing out big hint's. Wayne is looking for a decky.Cindy for sure will need a hand. The local Coastguard want volunteer Skipper's on a roster basis and so the list goes on.Really
looking forward toward the change in lifestyle and can't see myself slowing down.
When on top of this computer thing look out! Will bore you All to bit's.Untill next time, Love to All,
Danny Fenton

It's the Final Countdown for Danny as his 65th birthday looms and the 50 years of work ease him into employment for whanau and community. I will miss his chirpy self phoning up to say 'its only four, three, two months; three, two, one days'; I hope he doesn't start telling me how many seconds. The Lovable Larrikin will be in force as a retiree. Gud on yer, mayte!

Congratulations Margret and Richard on your upcoming 35th anniversary! Wow, that calls for something really special doesn't it, like maybe a celebratory visit to the states! Be sure to let us know what your plans are for marking this special event. We love you.

And Danny, we'll be thinking of you as you retire from the routine of work next week! How exciting for you, and if you want to celebrate it over here, your last day would be Thursday, so think about it, eh? Lots of love, and enjoy taking your bow after a job well done, the beginning of a new chapter with new possibilities.

Love, Sherrie
