According to the whakapapa of Laurie Ward, Valentine was born 20 April 1907. He died aged 7 years.
I have been told by Hughie that he had a picture of Valentine but having heard that a14 months ago at the reunion it hasn't come to fruition. But, when I went to Aunty Ruby's for Brenda's tangi, I saw the lovely photo of Valentine with his mum Laura, father Eugene and brothers Fred, Jack and Tui. Uncle Tui was the swaddled baby held by his mum.
