Patricia, Michelle, Mari, Jacqueline, Vicki: all Fenton girls raised on the farm at Rona Road, Brixton, Waitara. Mari was daughter of Jack Fenton; the girls were daughters of his brother Ike (Thomas Michael) Fenton.

| Jack and Mari describe their experience as unbeleivable.  'It was amazing to have the pleasure of being accepted by the whole family and that, with whomever they spoke to, they felt at peace with the world. Jack has said that his nights' sleep were the best he has had for over three years. The fact that everyone mixed and mingled and the laughter tingled and there were no grizzlies that one would read in one's newspaper were not present. It was to meet with people for the first time and to renew the acquaintance of some that Jack has expressed that feeling of being received, accepted and the goodwill, and aroha was absolutely overwhelming.' Thanks to the irrepressible Jack for his deposit of photos of the reunion whanau. He has made a great contribution to the album and our thanks go to him.
