March on ... McDuff

A milestone birthday for Jackie was a recent occasion as Roger's for 8th March.

The recent February wedding anniversary for Mari and Jack was celebrated with their daughter and son-in-law and their granddaughter's family.  Still holding hands and enjoying the coffee mornings, the Ascotians have had their granddaughter Kirsty pit her board game skills with them.  Brother Ricki has been doing the late evening ferry runs on the Brisbane River whilst parents have had a holiday in Bali.

After a mere two weeks living with the Islanders, Mum Mona has been back to burning her pots after a holiday in Auckland.  One good thing she has enjoyed having her midnight-til-dawn radio playing without a sleep timer set upon it.  We have been living in the garage for nearly a week after the ceiling was scraped and painted matt; a bit smelly and heavy humidity in the house.  Life without the usual use of the facilities of the house, the garage home made me appreciate the simple things of life: computer, bath/shower, fridge, microwave, tv, toilet, crockery, cutler, and so I could list more ...
