2003 October - Korero & Kai at Brenda and Paul's

From: Margret  (Original Message) Sent: 12/10/2003 12:00 a.m.
Several of the Auckland-area cousins, who were able to make it, met at the home of Brenda, Vanessa and Paul today before buzzing off home to watch the All Blacks play Italy.  Family memories were enjoyed and laughed over bits and pieces of our growing up.

Who wouldn't want to forget getting so lost when they were passengers in a car that drove into the race of the milking shed on somebody's farm.  The driver and navigator should not apply for inclusion in either the Targa rally, or any rally around NZ.

We may soon have the opportunity to welcome the youngest daughter of Uncle Ike and Aunty Allison, namely Vicki Lee, to our website.  It's her birthday this month too.

Bryan and Pam told us personally of their meeting and visit with Mari and Jack in Brisbane.  They enjoyed the opportunity to go and meet Aunty Es and I hope that when they are online that we'll see a lovely photo of Mari with her mother and Bryan, Pam and Jack.  Perhaps we can persuade Bryan to share stories about his wealth of experiences.
Have you sent to Jack your contribution to the newsletter.  He is probably working on it.  Make a note and send him some news.
Margret
