Dear Cindy and Peter
Thanks for joining the whanau via the Internet. You will see how much we enjoy learning computer skills. There is a Documents section, available for joined up members. Please send up some photos or mugshots! of family, and, add some captions and/or descriptions. You see our cousin Rona has a sense of humour with her comments. We have an editor of the newsletter, courtesy of the hardwork of Mari and Jack in Brisbane. They have sent out letterpost (snailmail) copies to those without Internet access. I know that my mother, Aunty Mona, has read hers as she quoted stuff to my son. My Dad, known as Hip, is the surviving sibling of Eugene and Laura's brood and he joined us at the inaugural reunion organised by Trish, third daughter of Uncle Ike. We have Aunts, Mona, Ruby and Es, and Uncle Hip as our kaumatua The first two aunts living in Taranaki and the eldest, Aunty Es, now 89 years, lives in Brisbane, independent of her daughter Mari and son-in-law Jack..
Our whakapapa has not been electronically established in a family tree, but it may be up to the good service of yourselves to bring to bear Peter's computing knowledge. Direct hint!! So, introduce yourself to us all, your children, your interests etc. You can click on Reply on the message section or else introduce a new topic.
Love from the Herald Islanders, the Brands mob, Margret.

Hi Margret,
Its great to be part of the group! I'm looking forward to catching up with all the Fentons.
I gave Dad the address so hopefully soon you will hear from him.
It was great seeing some old photos of everyone, I will get Peter to take some of my family and send them through.
As you probably know I have been married to Peter for 18 years and we have 3 daughters, Olivia 13, Katie and Rebecca 9 years. Currently I work helping disabled children at a nearby primary school. Peter is working with copiers and computers. We live by Long Bay beach which is great in the summer time!
We are still involved in the Salvation Army at Browns Bay, and no I'm no longer playing the Tambourine, that was the olden days!!!!!!!!
My brother Wayne lives in Devonport with his family and still very involved in yachting.
Anyway, I'll look forward to hearing from anyone soon!!
Cindy
