To Richard it does not seem long ago. During that time so many technological things have changed ... the church is still there in Waitara, the Swanndri next door has gone, the freezing works has changed itself. The lookout observes the town, people catch whitebait.
Richard's retirement came upon him yesterday and a new lifestyle to enjoy. Aynsley made cookies, enhanced by Richard's favourite form of transport.
