Known to us as Aunty Bub, wife of Witoto, born in 1901. Rita was the second daughter. I remember seeing Aunty Bub, dressed in black, slowly moving up McLean Street before going up Cracroft St to Brookes Terrace, and later on to her Karaka Flat home.
